    They are safe with shrimps, but sometimes the plants might still be covered with residual chemicals or pesticides that were used at the plant farm (this applies to most plants sold at LFS anyways), so you should wash and rinse the plants thoroughly before introduction into your tank with shrimps.

    yeah did that. removed the cotton, trimmed the roots and washed them before planting. the plants are doing well, growing and shoots being formed. the yamatos were dazed with one up the lorry. the other 3 up lorry oso after a few days.
