That's a Clithon Corona (aka horned nerite snail).
The white spots on the wood are its eggs... the only way to remove the white eggs is to manually scrape them off.
I saw some white spots on my driftwood today that wasn't here yesterday. (Maybe i shoot bird, did not see it yesterday)
Anyway, some pictures.

I've googled the issue, most said they are nerite snail's eggs. But I only have one ramshorn. Are they the same? Or did I buy the wrong snail?

This is the snail in my tank.
If it really is snail's eggs, what do I do? How to remove it?

Will the eggs hatch?

As UA has mentioned. The eggs will continue to appear so long the Nerite Snail is in your tank but no worries thou. It wouldn't hatch. Rarely has there been occurrences where it has even hatched so don't worry besides, its a good snail for clearing algae & nice piece you have there =)

Thanks. But the eggs quite unsightly... Guess it will need some manual labour.

Haha, any sort of poop is never good. Use a tweezer or something, hope your snail stops laying eggs then =)
