looking for suitable Eheim canister filter for my 5ft tank!

hi there,
i'm in the process of setting my 5 ft tank and stuck on which model of Eheim canister filter to choose. The model ProII 2028 is definitely capable for the job but have second thoughts cos many ppl tried to sell their 2028 filter on the net. Currently have a old 2226, thought of buying any Classic canister filter to pair with the old one for the 5 ft tank. which one should i choose 2226 or 2228? Or maybe you guys have better suggestions! Thks!

go for 2028 it's alway better to have the bigger volume one.

2228 old model? i think not many place carry it any more.

yea, agree with bryan too....go straight for 2028, e pro 2 series are much better....I've upgrade from 2222 to 2026, for my 3ft...doing very good not, worth e price(got it 2nd hand).....can look out for 2nd hand ones too, brand new ones are kinda exp in my view.....
