Dear all, recently I have started a 3gallon nano tank for my pilot aquascaping project. As my cabinet is small and I needed to squeeze an Eheim 2211 inside, I have opted for the 95g UP Aqua disposable CO2 kit. Now I'm hunting high and low for a solenoid kit that could fit this tiny fella as I do not wanna waste the expensive CO2 cartridge by bubbling at night.

Any ideas where can I get the solenoid kit that could fit these disposable cartridges? TIA!!!

This would be the solenoid regulator that will fit those 95gram disposable Co2 cartridges:

Found a photo of it setup on google images:

Not sure where you can get it locally, but i guess you could check with the shops which stock ISTA products.

Ya I saw this too but don't know where can I purchase it locally. Have called up Nanyang, NA, GC, FNM and East Ocean. None ofthem carries this. Alternatively I seriously thinking of shipping back the solenoid only without regulator from ebay

Looks like that standalone solenoid unit could be usable, its cheap enough that you can just order a set and try it out anyways, see if it works well with the ISTA system.

Thanks UA for the recommendation. I have proceeded to order a better quality unit from CO2 Art from the UK. Will post some reviews once i have it set up.

    Hi redember,

Been meddling with the idea of a disposable system too. is there no way to turn off the air flow with the given valve from ISTA?

In any case, how did the solenoid from eBay work out?
