Where to find Senegal Bichir?

Hello guys! First post hehehe. quite new to fish keeping any idea where can i get Senegal Bichirs? Used to have three of them, bought from a fish shop near my house for like 12 dollars or so each about 7 years ago (now that shop has closed down) but had to give them away as my mum think i was too young to have responsibility take care of them :/ looking to get them again since i recalled they were quite easy to be care for Except they are a little aggressive towards other fishes :/ had 20 guppies in a 10 gallon tank with those three during that time and after awhile noticed there's dead guppies and missing ones. Then i realized those 3 or attacked them.. LOL.

first of all, you're still too young to keep them.
secondly, 10gal isnt even enough for 1, not to mention, 3.
thirdly, monster fishes like birchir requires deep pocket, especially at adult age.
finally, they can grow up to 60cm in length, are you sire that you're ready for those at home? is your mum prepared to have a 60cm monster swimming around or lying around on the floor?

Thank you for your kind reply sir, now first of all im guessing you don't know my age, and so you are probably assuming it from the way i type, im sorry if trying to sound friendly made me sound like a kid that is like 15 or 16 and therefore too "young" to keep fishes. Second, from my knowledge senegal bichirs do not grow to 60cm as you said, they are smaller than your average bichirs. And yes i might be young then and stupid to keep 3 in a 10 gallon but now i have started work and am able to afford atleast a 75 gallon tank. sorry if it sounds like im flaming you, but usually i tend to summarize my thoughts instead of typing whole chunks, no offense intended, if any.

i agree with the 60cm part, but isnt it better, to prepare for bigger size (rarely happens, but still got chance) than underestimate their size and both owner and fishy suffer?

I totally agree with you on the bigger is better part, but i am planning to keep it in my room and a 75 gallon tank i think is fairly sufficient for a senegal bichirs or two as it is able to keep an oscar fairly happy if the necessary care for it is administered. everything is cool. My bad for misunderstanding what you meant and i agree the well being of our pets is priority. I'm still a newbie to fish keeping and am very interested in learning stuffs about maintaing an aquarium currently still studying as a post secondary student so i have alot to learn
