My tank has Oyama paper at the back n right side. Noticed the plants tend to grow towards the front probably because when the lights are off, the Front still has some light coming in. Wonder if any of you have same issue since using Oyama paper is quite common? Any way to overcome this? Tried to move the light further to the back but doesn't help. Thanks.

    Re: Slanted plant growth

Most plants will exhibit the tendency to grow and lean towards light sources, especially the faster growing stem plants, they can literally change direction to face better light sources very quickly.

The only way to prevent this type of growth pattern is to remove (or at least reduce) external light sources, like drawing the window curtains or switching off the room/corridor lights etc.

Looks like I should cover the sides of the tank unless am viewing! No curtain etc in balcony!! I'll go get those reflective covers they used for cars' windscreen. Also can reflect sun which should be shining in two months later! Thanks.
