what is the difference between using the seachem product and increasing the co2 supply, apart from the fact that excel gives some iron feterlization too

in personal opinion, which should i use for a 2 ft tank with moss, cos in some thread it said that iron is an effective mosskiller

Seachem flourish excel Don't have Iron at all. It only helps in promoting existing ferric (Fe+3) iron to ferrous (Fe+2) iron, which is more readily absorb by plants.

On a scale of 1 to 10, CO2 is about 10 on providing the carbon for plants while Excel is about 6. This means you should not rely solely on Excel for tanks that use high lighting.
