Hi Guys,

So i recently decided to do a re-scape of my two feet tank, which was previously setup with an iwagumi landscape.
Reason for this was because the Japanese Hairgrass had started to 'invade' the Hemianthus callitrichoides (HC), and the scape was starting to look very messy haha.

The "journal" of this scape can be located in the below hyperlink.

This time i had a simple mountain range scape in mind, so I decided to reuse the rocks with some added lavarocks.
For the plants i just used some leftover plants from a friend who was doing a new scape.

Plants:
Half tub of Monte Carlo
Half tub of Hairgrass
Didiplis diandra (i think)

The timeline of this setup is as follows..

Day 1:
First i had to decomm my old scape!
When i tried to remove the Hairgrass and HC, they came out as a carpet which ended up like this..

Before.

After.

Day 2:
After cleaning up as much as i could, added new aqua soil over the existing soil to create a slope and placed rocks towards the back.
Added plants, and outcome is as follows. If you noticed i was lazy to clean the lily pipes =/

Lighting period: 6 hours with no breaks.
Co2: 2 bps

Day 3:
Added twinstar mini into tank. Monte Carlos and Didiplis diandra seems to be growing well, however hairgrass appears to be struggling.
I had to trim Didiplis diandra once to encourage a thick growth at the back.
Also added some new rocks into the mix.

Lighting period: increased to 8 hours with no breaks.
Co2: 3bps

Day 10:
Noticed some algae has started to grow on the rocks.

Added some mosquito rasboras and a row of lava rocks in the front to act as a barrier between the hairgrass and monte carlos.

Lighting period: reduced to 7 hours with no breaks.
Co2: 3bps

Day 13:
Removed the rock on the right and replaced with a small bunch of nana petite as i found it to be an eyesore.
Monte carlo seems to be spreading well in the middle, hairgrass growth seems to be slow still.

Lighting period : 7 hours
co2: 3bps

Thanks for viewing, will provide more updates if i can find the time!
