    hi

any ideas? what brand is good?

currently i am using the reatcor type (tube with aquaballs at filter outlet), seems like the diffused rate not very good. i adjusted my co2 bubble rate to 4 bps and yet my kh ph measurement is only 3 and 6.7 respectively.

want to change to one with better diffused rate, though i rule out using external reactor due to cabinet space constraint.

    cheers

reactor undoubtly is the most effective way to diffuse co2, an external one will work better compared to an internal

when using a in-tank reactor, first of all the flow rate of the filter is important. next is the reactor itself. The good designs are usually able to break the big bubbles into tiny ones so that it diffuses faster.

Next, how big a tank are we talking about in terms of volume. 3 bubbles per second is usually good for small tanks up to 3x1.5x1.5......when hitting 4ft, its up to 4 to 5 bps.......

If your KH is 3, I think your target PH should be around 6.5 or 6.6
