Yes I agree, it's easier to prevent than to treat it. Fish that caught HIH wouldn't last long

is it ok to feed my goldfish with frozen bloodworms?

Yes, frozen bloodworm is pretty clean and unlikely to carry pathogens. But goldfish should not be fed frozen bloodworms alone. They should be fed a balanced diet with commercial flakes/pellets that has plant matters. Goldfish are very much omnivores.

How about sea monkey aka brine shrimp? Anyone feed it to their goldfish?

Yes you can occasionally. But the nutritional value of artemia is pretty low for adult goldfish.

You can also try hikari pellet. They have different types but I prefer the green packet. Apply jap yellow powder directly to the infected area few times and may help if situation not too bad. Need clean water to avoid aggravating the condition. It's best you change water 2-3 times a week. A good filtration system and regular water change minimize diseases for goldfish.
