I like the growth and colour of your cabomba. Have you ever considered running a fan to lower your temperature?
For some weird reasons, this tank is constant at 32* degrees temperature. It's placed against the wall on iron wrought stand lower tier with no heat conducting equipments next to it except for a eheim canister. Don't have any space for a chiller not budget so gotta make do with it.
I have tried Dsm HC successfully only for emerse form but once carpet and flood, HC can't take the high temperature and all died off. Tried again with the exact same result. Wasted a few months for that and now decide to just use cheap plants.

I am using aquazonic 3ft 39Wx2 and a DIY 20w led light. Not seeing much pearling so today decided to DIY another led light to replace the both lights.
Now I am using just 105W led light and can see so much more pearling 😁😁

my 2 feet tank also hover around 30 to 32 degrees.... ambient temperature is 29 to 32 degrees also...
32°C is rather high for an indoor tank... that's usually the type of temperatures i get in my outdoor tanks during hot afternoons under the blazing sun.
Btw, are you sweating like crazy when you stand next to your tank or is there sunlight shining directly onto the tank glass? If not, then maybe consider getting another thermometer (preferably a good quality digital one) to measure and compare, your current thermometer may be reading higher temperature than it really is.
I encountered odd readings with a series of thermometers before, some of them displayed unusually high temperatures (2-3°C higher than the rest)... made me panic for a while.
Your T5 lights would have contributed to the heat build-up in the water too... but since you just switched it fully to your DIY LED set, it'll probably help reduce overall heat accumulation around the tank (make sure the LEDs are not over-driven and their heat output are properly conducted/ventilated away from the tank).
I took the thermometer and put on top of my 4xT5 54W each tube, and the temperature of the light casing is 42 degrees!!
I'm using a old thermometer I had since a long time. Not sure is it accurate or not but the tank certainly feels much warmer than my other tanks.

An update on the tank now

Pearling is now more intense and I added HG in hope that will have carpet.
Also trim off the background plants as they are emerging from the water.
Notice the plants on the right have grown too. They now completely cover my diffuser hidden at the corner. Wondering should I shift or just let it be?
