Are the drops coming from the hose/barb or from the rubber seals? In either case, some vaseline helps.

Hose clamps - can get from any neighbourhood hardware shop.

Suzerolt, Vaseline is interesting. How should it be applied? Brush the area like pipe glue? Or take a dollop and apply it to the leaking area? Would there be any reaction with the water?

Vaseline can be purchased from Guardian Pharmacy/Watson. About $2+ per small bottle. Just apply a small blob with your finger around the fitting.
Vaseline is commonly used to lubricate O-rings for aquarium filters. It is aquarium safe.

    One example:

Oh I see. I know what Vaseline is. I use it when I go for my longer distance runs to prevent chafing.

But I guess it is only a temporary solution.

Hmm, I think Vaseline helps before it lubricates the rough ness that is not obvious to our eyes.

Best solution: apply Vaseline around the inner part of the tube, then tighten with the hose clamps!
