Thanks a lot. Lights are on for 10 hours a day. EI dosing and water change 50% every week.
During the first 2 weeks i did a 60% water change twice every week.
Nice bro! Way to go!

woooow....beri nice
Will like to check where can I get KNO3? I am trying ei dosing as well.
You wont be able to get KNO3 in Singapore, it is control item. You need license to buy it.
Any alternatives for planted crs tank?
I got mine from Hydroponics (Mr. Mallick)
@aquanick Do you mean ecocityhydroponics?
Hi Guys..
Small update on the tank, in fact one of the plants.. I got some ammania sp bonsai from a fellow friend on aq and like everyone else I was having problems making the tips or new growth to turn Yellow and Red as shown in Tropica pics.
I finally managed to that, key is :
1) Low Nitrates
2) High Light
Will let the pics do the talking :

wow, very talented *thumbs up
i saw your past work, remarkable.
hope my tanks can be as successful as yours.
may i ask, why do you need to do a water change weekly?
i was told to top up the water once a week, which i have been doing.
is that correct or i picked the wrong info?
Hi Kurty, thanks..
I do weekly water changes so that the excess nutrients is reduced as I follow EI dosing. You can find more info here : http://www.barrreport.com/showthread...-for-Test-Kits
