Now that the tank is planted , how do we perform water change?
do we need to stir up the poo and waste at the bottom of the tank or just suck out the water will do?

That's part of his signature, not his response.

Echoing what wongce said, just remove the water from the tank, no need to get rid of any detritus. It would remain as 'fertiliser'.

Avoid stirring or disturbing the substrate as it might disturb the plants or cause some imbalance in the water chemistry.

I use those tube for co2 to suck out the dirt. I tap lightly on my hc Cuba which is my foreground plant with my fore finger to let the dirt flow up and into the tube. The suction is low and it will not uproot the plants. I notice that if I don't remove the debris, the hc Cuba is not as green and healthy. I did the same on my mini pelia, too. I feel that those dirt on the plants may cause algae to grow on them. Does anyone feel the same way?

Attached a picture of my current set up.

The dark red plant in the middle looks great. What's the name and where do you buy it from? Thanks. Very nice setup.
