I envy you're able to achieve 24 degrees at room temperature. My house is really warm at 32-33 degrees and I'm using chiller.![]()

I live on the 23rd floor with no blocks all around as I'm the highest point block.
Strong winds blowing in especially at night but the temperature during the day is 29-31℃ So I assume it's the direct sunshine at my unit :/ Nothing to do with height of where you're living.

Steady la!! Congrats haha! I think it's birthday was days ago though![]()
Wow congrats hopefully they survive the first two weeks, if they do then they'll probably be ard for another year or two
my using fan to cool pay off. 1 gave birth, now 5 pregnant. temperature of fan ~ 24 to 27 max
By using the fan, will the temperature of all the water be cooled down or just the water near the surface? any idea?
I did tried using fan on my nano tank, and failed to breed CRS. and eventually after some research, I have upgraded to 2 ft tank. And most importantly it is 1.5 ft height, this allow water temperature to stay at average around 28C. and started seeing some success breeding these CRS
I tried using fan, can breed and give birth but not much luck on shrimplets survival rate.
I feel it's not really about the temperatures, but more issues on the temperature stability and frequent water top ups problem.
However, there will still a minority who enjoyed much success, hope you are one of them.![]()
Thinking of keeping crs, must I really keep the temperature low?
Think my day temperature is around 27-29, around 25-27 at night.
Doable? Or I should just stick with cherry. Haha

It's not good to have temperature fluctuations in my opinion. Even if your temps are at 27, if it's very stable, still maybe able to breed.
The adults will survive and breed, only the babies will be a challenge to keep alive if the temperatures keep going up and down.
