    What are the brand of ext co2 reactor available in the market and average price range for it?

    If you have the time, head down to Nature Aquarium and have a look at their diy co2 external reactor. Plug and play.

    there was another by a local company, but I havent seen that reactor for a while now

    think c328 has a cool looking external reactor.
    but cost a little more.

    Is the external CO2 reactor only good for pressurised systems or can we use it for DIY CO2 too?

    a reactor increase the effectiveness of dissolving Co2.. so yes to your qns

    Do you think an DIY external cannister filter (the DIY model posted by dammnit) with will have enough power for the external CO2 reactor to work well?

    This would greatly increase the tank space for a small tank (>2feet)

    depends on the flowrate of the pump used in the DIY canister.
    faster flowrate for reactors recommended or you may want to use a separate pump to run the reactor rather than hooking it up to the DIY canister.
