I have read from this previous thread regarding zero KH in planted tank

and I would like to know if I do not add baking soda will it limit CO2 levels in tank after injecting CO2. I do not use aquasoil which supposely gives 0 KH buffer as mentioned in the old thread.

Also, I am assuming my KH is zero since Singapore water KH value from PUB report is quite low of <5-44ppm and I do not own a KH test kit.

Are there any other serious effects of zero KH such as pH crash if water changes are done weekly?
