Like to ask u guys> how strong is ur filter? Seems like i cant maximise my filter, always open like half output so that the fishes wont be on the threadmill 24/7. On the other hand, at the end of the tank didnt get enough current to move particle . 2 rainbar dont seem to work as i only had 1 inlet at the corner of the tank, the current is not in circulation. Any one full blast ur filter till fishes all can take part in marathon? How am i suppose to know that the current is sufficient for filtration and fishes? Thanks.

The rainbar should be good enough when placed along the bottom back of the tank facing towards the front of the tank as long as you have some surface movement. Gentle even current is better than 1 point current but this is only critical for big tanks.

There is a product that have appeared in some lfs recently. It is shaped like the ADA lily pipe but is made of plastic and is green in color. I am currently using it at the moment and through my observation, the water that came out through this 'lily pipe' is dispersed and not concentrated like when it came out directly from my outlet pipe. This item will fit both pipe sizes that Eheim is selling. I am using 2026 at full blast. And sorry I do not have a pic of it coz no dc camera. But you could see this item at any reputable lfs. Bought mine at Nature. Cost is less than $15 if I'm not wrong.

At the end of it, it looks like the outlet has been " pinched" together into a vertical small outlet area only right?

No, the outlet is 'flared' open but not all side is equal. There is a section that is being cut out or it was intentionally designed that way. As the water exit this flared opening, the cut out section actually 'suck in' water from the surrounding area. I noticed this when my trimmed plant leaves were actually being sucked into this flare opening. Even a fish such as my harlequin has been suck into this flare once but the fish has not encountered any injuries whatsoever because the output is continuously pumping water out.
