E. Tenellus Propagation

planted e. tenellus in the foreground of my tank about a month ago, and they've been putting out runners and growing new shoots. the thing is: they don't seem very compact, and i can still see much of the gravel between the tenellus plants.

can anyone advise me on how to make the e. tenellus lawn nice and complete?

Trim them.. they should get thicker over the time, look at Gan's display tank, that's one thick tenellus carpet he got there
