I don't have any reccomendations, each keeper will have their preference of bacteria.

For me I find that this Totto PSB bacteria is cheap and also works well for me and friends.

No this setup only used Ada Amazonia. Maybe is the light and position the picture is taken so you see different colour.

I guess the difference in soil color is due to the water. Dark brown/black are soaked in water while the dry one are brown in color. Thanks again to bro Bai for sharing this set up process.

Today is already 9th day of tank setup and 8th day of shrimp swimming inside. All are doing well. Will soon shift more shrimp in when I'm free.

    Here's the updated picture.

I can't advise you on which air pump. As I'm using medo air pump which can support up to 40+ outlet.

For the picture tank it's running a air driven sponge filter and a modify to submerged pump.

For your info now I'm using a sponge filter which come with a pump. Interested to know can pm me your contact, I can show you the picture and location to purchase in whatsapp. As I have not upload picture to photobucket lately.

The sponge filter with pump is Brand: Dophin - Model: SFP16 or SFP34 - Flowrate is 170LPH.
