Those are 100ml bottles with dropper tips, i ordered them from eBay, here is the seller's link:

    http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/140672264759

They have removable tips so you can refill them anytime, and the dropper tips allow fertilizers/solutions to be dosed more precisely (good for smaller tanks)... based on the drop measurements i've tested, 20 drops = approx. 1ml.

Btw, the bottles are opaque so they can also be used with light sensitive solutions too (ie. Seachem Excel).

Thanks! Been wanting to get my hands on those bottles. Is it hard to find these locally?

I guess you could check at those shops selling skincare or cosmetics products, they might sell similar types of bottles with dropper tips too.

Can also check at Daiso outlets, i've also seen small bottles and dispensers in different designs for travel use available there.

Alright thanks. I will take a look. Hope that I can buy it locally. Hate the waiting time for oversea shipments.

I wonder with the solenoid in the cabinet, will it raise the temperature in the cabinet significantly? The solenoid I used many years back was so hot that I cannot hold it.

Not too sure about the heat emission levels of older solenoid models, but for the ANS brand solenoid that i'm using, it stays cool to touch when its on, no heat emitted at all... so i guess heat isn't an issue for the newer solenoid models.

Re: Planted Tank Cabinet Layout Ideas

This is my Cabinent Layout for now.

    In the Picture:
    2 Eheim Ecco Pro 300
    Hailea Chiller HS-52A
ANS Electronic Solenoid running at 2-3 bps.
3 litre Stainless Steel CO2 Tank (2 litre spare CO2 Tank)
    ISTA CO2 External Reactor
    Eheim reeflexUV 350
    Maxspect R420r Power Supply
    PC Power Supply
    2 CoolerMaster 120mm LED Fans
    1 CoolerMaster 200mm LED Fan
IKEA LEDBERG LED 3-piece lighting strip set

After fiddling around for a while, I realized it is easier to place all the equipment behind so that you will have more room to work with. Place your maintenance tools and test kits in the front and preferably in boxes so that you can quickly and easily shift them out to be put aside during your weekly maintenance.

I am still toying with some ideas to catch all the drips and spills when we are disconnecting the joints from the equipment and pipes. I will post something when I have a more solid solution.

Looks great... seems you also have some spare space in the cabinet to put another small nano tank too.

Yeah, i know what you mean... the built-up pressure inside canister filters tend to eject some water when the hoses are disconnected. I usually just use a cheap cloth towel and hold it around the joints as they are being disconnected, that catches any water spillage that occur.

LOL. I prefer to have the space available for me to work with during maintenance. I am quite a big and clumsy guy. I need all the space I can have to work with.

I am doing that too right now but I am trying to see if I can work out a better way. Right now, it is easier to just let it spill all over then wipe it down before putting the equipment back together.
