@Kelvin 247, I purposely position my outflow such that the gush of water will 'blow' directly at the CO2 bubbles that are diffusing towards the water surface. I thought this is more efficient to spread the CO2 bubbles throughout the tank. Therefore, my outflow is diagonally opposite the CO2 diffuser.

you should try different location and find the best possible because your hardscape and plant will affect the water flow.
Yeah, the usual "recommended" placement for in-tank Co2 diffusers is directly opposite the outflow pipe... the theory being that the circular flow pattern will help push the Co2 bubbles down and across the substrate where the plants are (instead of letting it just rise directly upwards to the water surface and off-gas there).
