Try epoxy
Hi guys...i've been having this problem for a while now....got this diffuser thing for my Co2, you know the typical green one where the water comes out and goes round and round until the bottom and turns this black ball like thing in a green chamber where there is a ceramic rock in the middle??? The problem is that the darn ceramic rock doesn't work for me....there is this loose connection inside and the co2 just bubbles out with out going thru the ceramic rock....i tried siliconing the joints together but today it leaked again!! then it just bubble and bubble away just like the darn bubble counter...no small bubbles....i was wondering what i could do...any suggestions?? i need the small bubbles lah.....Thanks guys!![]()

Why don't you change to an external reactor. The filter type which is very effective and cost < $50 but a bit on the bulk side.

I have the same problem for my small 2ft tank initially. Either CO2 or bubble from the 2213 cause the airspace to grow in the internal reactor. Eventually the balls will get push to the bottom. What I did was to put the 2213 canister output directly into the tank and the internal reactor with the input from a small power head. This way the power head is strong enough to spin the water and little co2 shall escape from the rainbar.
I do have a external reactor also for my 6ft tank. Again , you need a strong canister to spin the co2 effectively. I am using 2060 canister (1260 pump).
Hope this help.
Hmmm...thanks guys.....maybe that means have to go to fish shop today liao....![]()
there are readily available higher quality reactors (internal/external) around in the market. Brands like dennerle, bioplast, dupla (if still around) makes excellent internal reactors or you can modify the one u have, just by replacing the stuff in them
