    It could work, but you'll have to make sure that the water doesn't evaporate totally between the mistings... what most people do is either put the moss on media with high water retention properties (like sponge, soil or peat) or put the moss on porous objects (ie. lava rock, coconut shell, wood etc) and place them in a shallow container of water so that the water can wick up keep the moss constantly hydrated.

    Also google the keyword "Kokedama" or "Wabikusa" for more ideas, thats the japanese style of growing emersed bonsai plants in a ball of soil and peat with moss cover, they just require regular daily mistings to keep the plants and moss hydrated.

    Any of you got spare mini fissiden for Sales?

    Wanna plant them on by lava rocks..

    Well, i usually keep various spare mosses stored in containers placed next to windows or outdoors, so i guess maintaining a moss "collection" is an on-going exercise... its always useful to keep a few varieties of mosses on hand, never know when you need them.
