    What kind of rocks are these?
    Is this suitable for aquarium?

    Looks nice, seems to be the common "grey" rocks usually sold at most LFS or landscaping companies, will need a geologist\rock expert to ID it though... or you can just give it a japanese name and sell for alot of $$$.

    If you are concerned about its effect in a tank, just soak the rocks in a bucket of water for 1-2 weeks and take pH and gH measurements before and after to compare and see if there are any significant changes in the parameters.

    That's a good one..

    @Freezze - You can actually do a calcaroeus test on the rock to check for concentration of calcium carbonate by putting drops of white vinegar
    on various areas on the rock, if it sizzles or bubbles the rock will effect the water condition of the tank because of it calcium content.
