seriously if dosage is correct KH2PO4, K2SO4, MgSO4, Fe + trace is enough to provide the plant with healthy diet right?
To answer your question, yes (if you follow the levels suggested in the Estimative Index), but you left out KNO3... if you dose KNO3, you can do without K2SO4 altogether. How about Ca? I personally find Seachem Equilibrium good for Ca, Mg and a few other traces (as well as buffering), although I add Profito for Fe and traces also.
right now I only have K2SO4 so intend to finish them before going into KNO3. And quite worried that I over dose KNO3 because my tank bio load is getting higher so I believe my NO3 is getting higher too.
For Ca I using coral chip which at the same time can boast my PH. Anyway I do not have Ca tester the only way I judge the level for my Ca is by observing what type of unwanted snail grow in the tank.![]()
I think you have the right ingredients for plant growth already. I presume you also have sufficient CO2 and light for the plants. Some stuff is already in fish food. Like you, I did not dose KNO3 as I feed my fish frequently.
Just make sure things are balanced and no algae growth.
