Is it alright to leave the tank without CO2 for some days? Or do you guys usually have 2 CO2 bottles to swop around when one goes to LFS for charging?

Where is a LFS where I can get a quick charge or usually have to leave it there for some time?

thanks, first time going to charge...

Go to bioplast at boon keng for instant top up. Otherwise, reduce light or use excel for that few days.

I prefer instant because i know i will get back the tank without damage or mia from the lfs.

Or some places do instant swap like NA or east ocean for their tanks.

Instant swap means you'll end up getting someone else?

Yes, you dont really own the tank. But i'm not sure of the initial price difference compared to buying a new tank.

    Re: CO2 canister

it should be fine with no co2 for a few days, keep an eye out on buy sell section and get a spare tank, saves the hassle of having to rush down to get it filled, really helps when it goes empty during a busy period. lots of bros selling quite cheap saw one 5L for 60 bucks awhile back

    Re: CO2 canister

Even though the costs are similar, i prefer to do gas top-up rather than 1-to-1 exchange... my Co2 tanks are still nice and new, don't want them to get exchanged for old scratched up ones.

Worth considering but space constraint, can't get too big a tank
