    Hi guys,

Have any of you hear of this led kit as per subject?

    http://current-usa.com/aquarium-led-.../lunar-lights/

Wonder if any have tried or know if it could be source locally?

I am thinking to add this led to existing my maxspect kit so that when the full light goes off, these leds will kick in until morning to stimulate a lunar light effect.

I am thinking to go with 2set of white and 1set of blue, not sure if it will promote algae growth.

Hope to gather some feedback and advice.

    Thanks in advance!

While it is not a great idea to have your Maxspect run 24hrs, I think our lights set have the option of turning on 1% and it looks almost like night lights. Why dont you just extend that hours a little longer so at night you can still view the moonlight effect.

Wont it also spoil the aesthetics of the light to have another cable running through it. One of the best feature of Maxspect is to have it so slim and sleek.

I doubt using it overnight will promote algae growth. Too dim to have much of an effect on algae anyway.

    Hi Phillipians,

Based you have my setting, the TP6 could only be set till 2330hrs which is at 0/0, and if I make change to this and TP1, it would affect the rest of the setting... which I have tried, unless I did it wrongly... I am thinking to use the maxspect for sunrise sunset set up while the truelumens provide the lunar light after the sunset maybe till wee hours with a timer and also on demand basis at times.

The led are quite compact and I think it could be easily integrated with the razor.

I am just thinking is it a necessity to having it... or maybe finding reason to own it... it stated lunar light would stimulate spawning ...

Just trying out your suggestion and also checking the power for 0/1% since I have kill-a-watt plug. @ 0/1% the measurement is at 6w which I think it quite high. Truelumen lunar light is 0.75w ...
