    Hi,

I have a normal ANS CO2 single stage dual guage solenoid regulator -> bubble counter -> check valve -> Intense atomizer(new version according to GC).

I noticed that while the solenoid is "ON", I still can on/off the bubble in the bubble counter but I cannot increase or decrease the bubble rate...

Does anyone encounter this before? Or is anyone able to advise me?

*Cylinder pressure showing 700 psi and outflow guage showing 26 psi with fine bubbles coming out from the atomizer.

If I off and on the solenoid, I can adjust the BPS but after a while it goes back to fix BPS....

Whats the working pressure shown on the 2nd gauge? The intense atomizer may require a higher working PSI than what the regulator can produce, hence the bps rate seems to be slowed down or restricted.

What check valve are you using? Some check valves add extra "load" on the overall pressure requirements.

You main tank pressure reading 700 PSI indicates that the Co2 is running out soon, the Co2 is now in gas form (not liquid anymore), so that may have some effect.

the 2nd guage showing arounf 26 psi. I using the metal check valve from Gush bought from GC.

I have send my CO2 cylinder for top up already to try and narrow down the fault.

The staff from GC mentioned that the new batch of Intense atomizer no longer have the issue of requiring higher pressure and their show tanks are all using normal regulator with atomizer.

Your working pressure of 26 PSI is definitely on the low side, usually atomizer systems need 36 PSI and above (higher the better) to work properly... i'm using ANS solenoid regulators too, bit mine are running at 40-50 PSI working pressure (i guess different models have different working pressure settings).

Not sure how the newer atomizer systems can be designed to work with lower pressure (pushing tiny bubbles though dense ceramic tubes will naturally require more pressure), but if the GC staff says it can work, perhaps check their show tank Co2 regulators actual working pressures to get a reference. See if their pressure settings are the same or higher than your setup.

Thanks alot! will look out for higher working pressure regulator..
