How to attach plants to rocks?

Taking this beautiful Pandora-scape as reference, can anyone enlighten me how the plants (and what species) may be attached to the 'floating rocks'?

plants: mini fissiden, moss, flame moss.

if i not wrong, the creator actually use fishing lines to have that floating effects.

So are the mosses glued onto the rock? how are they kept secured? ok to share?

actually moss easily attaches to rock/wood ... i usually use string or fishing lines to tie them to the rock/wood ... give it a few weeks and you will see them growing out nicely ... after that, you can remove the string

The mos is either tie or slot into the crack on the rocks. I personally don't like glue-ing because end up with glue patch on the rocks.
