You can consider RAC soil.
RAC soil probably within the 6 to 6.5 range. There are other factors to consider for the buffering part. One of which is the volume of soil used.
I'm also using RAC. .ph had been stable at 6 for the past 4 months..
This one I not too sure what is the "recommended" ratio. I am using roughly 15% and it works. Perhaps other people with insightful experience can provide some help to you.
RAC shrimp soil is a favorite choice among shrimp breeders.
yeah kinda get that idea from what people say
To top up rac soil..and to minimise cloudiness..do you think we can rinse them and insert them through those feeder tubes?![]()
Dunno lei..thinking of topping up soil since I have some left..lol..current level about 1.5cm for a 30cube..feel may be not too sufficient..lol
Hi What i did is get a clean plastic bag (like those you buy curry puffs or buy fish give you those kind) fill up the soil, grab tight the opening and submerge whole bag to the tank bottom and like decorating cake like that slowly release no cloudy.
Swee! Did you have to cut a hole at the corner (like cake pipette)?
Good advice, we try it myself
Don't cut the hole as the whole point is to not let water run through the soil in to the water. so just hold tight to the opening and face down to release will do.
ok that's more logical way to do it...
