Methylene Blue

some of my fishes got Ich...so i took them out and dosed the quarantine tank with this stuff....

The problem is that i dosed the main tank due to panic about half of the suggested dosage...then i remembered something about shrimps and medication....will methelyne blue kill shrimps?? and destroy my beneficial bacteria?? how to prevent the ich spores from doing another infection in main tank?? i was thinking raise temperature to about 28-29degrees and add some aquarium salt but then afraid that my cold plants will die....how??
