snails

Hi,
I have a problem keeping snails alive. I've tried keeping zebra and horn snails. My other fishes and shrimps don't die but the snails but they just keep dying a few days later. Any idea why?

What's the water pH?

just measured:6.6

For snail, its better to maintain the pH above 7 due to the fact that the shell might corrode away.
Not sure if pH6.6 might affect the snail survior rate though.

But my shrimps survived. Isn't shrimps more "weak"
