Either the eggs dropped and didn't hatch, or the baby crayfish are still hiding or they died and already eaten by the adult crayfish.
mexican dwarf crayfish egg missing
I own a pair of mexican dwarf crayfish. They mate and the female start carrying eggs few days later. Over the pass 3 weeks or so, the egg turned darker. 1 day I noticed there is only 1 egg left dangling under her tail. This is already the 4 wk or so. I have checked n there wasn't any young crayfish. Any idea what could have happen?
They are house in a small tank with moss, rock and places for them to hide n avoid each other.
