What fish are they referring to?

At a fish store recently, I heard the auntie tell a man they do not have ' autumn' because its hard to keep and they are wild caught, can someone enlighten me what fish species are they referring to? Its just out of pure curiosity... Thanks

It is Altum, a kind of angel fish.

That?! My ears must be bad... They say they get big and predatory or something, I thought it must have been some hokkien word for the Dorado or largemouth bass haha. Thanks for the enlightenment

Hahas the description fits. There is a demand for wild caught altums because have very nice colors.. hard to keep maybe due to introducing it to our very clean n pure tank water to natural water

Well, when pronounced with the local lingo, it does sound like "autumn".
