Anyone had kept them with no issue with CRS shrimps?

    Cheers,

Bro OT, fissden dont need alot of light once they are stable(semi mature) so reduce the photo period to prevent algae from coming back. Just something to note after you get rid of the current algae

C328 sells red nose shrimps. Look for them at the back. No issues with CRS, they may go for the same food though and tend to be jumpers when they get startled.

I saw a packet at c328 yesterday at the back tank with all the rilli, fire etc. Are they better in algae cleaning than fire red?

From my experience with red nose shrimps and cherry shrimps so far, they both seem to be equally effective at clearing the common hair/thread/fuzzy algae tangled amongst plants (i've used them in separate tanks to observe and compare their algae clearing abilities).

The benefit of red nose shrimps is they have a unique look and wouldn't interbreed with RCS or CRS, so you can have them all live alongside each other without messing with offspring quality.

My only problem was that they started to eat my narrow fren as well. In the end had to give them away...
