The crypt gecko is lovely! May I know where you got that lovely specimen?
and you have a very nice and diverse combination of plants there! Look forward to the scape when the plants grows in more!
Hi ts, may I know what is the fish with a black triangle on its body?
Find that fish quite nice and where do you get it from?
Nice tank, the black traingle fish is harlequin tetra.
The unknown plant looks like rock tassel fern... Lycopodium squarrosumUnknown plant. Does anyone knows what plant is that with the 'hairy' leaves???
or staghorn clubmoss... Lycopodiella cernua
Is it doing well submerged?

I got the cryptocoryne green gecko from Tiong Bahru Wu Hu LFS......
Simply love to buy and put them in................ Provided that they looked "low-tech" plants to me......
Hi bro, as what Noble_guy pointed out, it's a harlequin rasbora....... i do have some espei inside, which are pretty similiar to harlequins......
thanks for the compliments bro!!
Thanks for the ID.....
Not sure bro..... I "googled" the name that you mentioned and find them to be quite similiar in looks.......
This had been submerged for more than a month..... while there seems to be minimal growth, it seems to be healthy.......
The plant is pretty stiff though, which i suspect could be terrestial......
Nicely done!
May I know what lighting set are you using?
Cheers,
U.K.Lau
Nice tank and fish.![]()
No problem bro!! They should be a common sight in most LFS...
Thanks for the compliment bro!!
The light set is a 2FT aquazonic T8 single tube set.
However, i only turn on the lights when i reach home after work for my night viewing, around 8-10 or 11pm.....
This tank is situated directly beside the window but no direct sunlight, hence, i just let nature do the work.....
Thanks for the compliment bro!!

Staghorn moss?
can i check, for nana and fern, i know usually we will tie it to weight it down.
but if i don't wish to do that, can i just plunge into the substrate?
what is the correct planting method for nana and fern.
thanks

For my case, due to the dense spaces between the plants, I am able to place the ferns down where the leaves will interlock each other..... Hence, they stay where I want them to be.......
as for nana, I place them at strategic spots where there is over-growth to prevent them from floating up. Else will be using glue to stick their rhizome onto lava rocks and push it into the substrate, covering the rock, with rhizome above the substrate...... I would choose the smaller rocks to have lesser hassle......
i have read in other websites where the causasians mention planting nana into the substrates...... They simply bury the roots into the substrate with the rhizome above substrate...... They all claimed that this method does not harm the plant...... Not sure abt this though
Bro sorry newbie here, in the first pic the tank is just plain clear/white and when switch off room light it's blue how come? does it have something to do with the tank light? Please explain .. thanks
The "white" tank was the scaping plan that I was playing around before start up bro......
used a totally different blue tank when I commence the setting up of the tank that's all.....![]()
