This is really impressive. Very seldom see arowana in such nice planted setup

With a carpet grass, how are you planning to keep the bottom clean?

You feed aro with oto?![]()

I normally clean the grass with a comb. It is like literally combing hair. As for the fishes, he normally leaves it alone. His diet is fully meal worm. I also have yamato in there which he never touch.

Was wondering why you didnt place the "tree" nearer to the rockscape.
Nevertheless, the "grasssland" effect is still pretty amazing.

90 x 50 x 50 cm tank: Eheim 2217; ANS CO2 Solenoid with 60mm intense bazooka; Zetlight 6400; Teco 500 Chiller; Borneo Wild Steel inlet/outlet
Ferts: Dry Mixture/Dr Mallicks. Temp: 26 degrees Substrate: ADA Amazonia
Just curious whether is the arowana fish in your tank during the initial planting of plants stage?

If I am not wrong, the arowana is only added recently after the plants had firmly rooted in.

Wow nice carpet grass tank! i personally feel theres abit of unbalance though. I would prefer if its wood on one side, the other side might look better with wood and vice versa.

Very nice! So it takes a fish that size for cardinals to school. Haha
Do without the tree and add add a smaller group of rocks in its place and you'll have iwagumi!

Wooo... Nice.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
A perfect example on how to make your tetras to school.....
