Anybody has experience with these shrimps that they started eating the plants?? i have them in my tank and i think they are the culprits for eating my Eusteralis stellata and Narrow leaf Hygro spp. Would this be probable or has anyone the same experience? now the crypt look like lace plant!!

    YES, they are THE ONE.

among the shrimps that i have (yamato, cherry, neon, malayan...), red nose is the one that love to eat the plants most. even my well-known-not-tasty java fern all now looks like hair grass.

i feed twice a day, tried all kinds of pellets and vegie.... they just love my aquatic plants....

you must mean the mosquito shrimp

i got a tank of mosquito, tiger, bee, cherries, yamato. All my plants are still intact. The mosquito arent eating my plants

I have crypts, lobelia, and frogbits in the tank. The cherries sometime will hang upside down and eat at the frogbit, thats about all
