it is tell tale sign that disease is coming soon if nothing is done. check all your water parameters. look for signs of disease or aggression by other fish. aggression may lead to open wound which will invite diseases.

No aggression so far. I read about shimming but does have a sure way to cure it. How do you cure such cases? So far 2 is acting this way the others are still fine

For me personally, i take it out and put in quarantine tank. Put salt in the quarantine tank too. It helps my swordtail that time round. Not sure will it work for guppy or not. Maybe the experts can help.

hmm ok. is your salt concentration high? i put rather high concentration. similar to salt bath. but use at own risk. not sure whether the fish can take such high concentration or not. either way check its belly. is it hollow or sunken? might be internal parasite at play too

    Re: Shaking fish

For tank treatment, I normally put in 1 table spoon per 20 liter. If there is scaleless fishes inside, I will half it.

Never do dip before, therefore unable to advise further.
