90 x 50 x 50 cm tank: Eheim 2217; ANS CO2 Solenoid with 60mm intense bazooka; Zetlight 6400; Teco 500 Chiller; Borneo Wild Steel inlet/outlet
Ferts: Dry Mixture/Dr Mallicks. Temp: 26 degrees Substrate: ADA Amazonia

i was hoping to go for the mysterious feel with just dark gravel, driftwood and dim lighting. I am planning to get white spotted ones like L201 first
I think it's nicer to use dark colored sand. Black might be too dark, what with the dark fish, dim lights, and dark colored wood. The sand will reflect some light and cast some illumination.

Just remember to use contrasting colours to illuminate what you want to show. IE light coloured wood stone with dark gravel.
