Hi,
was told that there was this shop located in pasir ris farmway, somewhere behind the goldfish area, that really sell a huge variety of plants and most important, cheap and more quantity compare to seaview, LFS etc..
does import and export on plants.
can anyone shine some light on this shop?
been to a few times to pasir ris farmway but don't recall seeing this special shop..

Yeah, you have to walk past the marine section, then you'll see the plant farm with all the concrete ponds. They also have a few large tanks with various plants and mosses on display.
Its name is Capricorn Plant Farm, some people call it Ah Pek plant farm (not sure why).

Just look for the boss, very friendly chap. He is usually there most of the time tending to the plants or preparing them, there are some photos of him in the website gallery: http://capricornaquarium.com/gallery.../plant-artist/
Their prices are somewhat similar to most LFS, or just slightly cheaper (they are one of the plant suppliers to LFS anyways), but the best thing is they do have a huge selection of plants in large quantities growing in their concrete ponds... so if you want like 20+ pots of rotala, they can grab them directly from the ponds.

just wanna pay a visit to such interesting place and i doubt they have what i want.
i actually very keen in getting mini plants, so help me out if you can (plant fairy)
- mini red
- downoi
- repens
- dwarf hairgrass.

Can also look at the small epiphyte plants like anibias petite and the small-sized buceps too, can be tied to items and placed anywhere to create interesting accents.
Capricorn's my favorite plant farm! The plant types they sell depend on season and import usually, although they do grow alot of their own plants and always stock the standard types of plants. They don't usually have downoi (and usually sell more expensive than C328 whenever they do). They have quite alot of repens always available. And they usually only sell Japanese Hair Grass, not dwarf hairgrass.
Their pricing may look expensive or on par with LFS, but the quantity they give you for that price is crazy! I have to tell the boss to give me lesser plants sometimes but he just give anyways, haha....
they are one of the best people around and generous with quantity.

Don't know how the situation at pasir ris will affect them in futureWill they move to new location or close their business like some of the shops there?

was another good experience for us
The uncle, no doubt is nice and friendly.
sharing with him that i'm looking for mini plant series..
went to one of his ponds and dug out a funny looking 'lily' which proclaim to be 'mini' and require frequent trimming..
well, since the poor plant is out.. hence had to take it.
