The 11W fluorescent light should be okay for your current tank setup.

Most of the new LED light models nowadays are suitable for planted tanks, many have their light spectrums specifically tuned for growing aquarium plants... usually the wattage works out to half that of normal fluorescent lights for the equivalent effectiveness (with alot less heat emitted and in much slimmer casings too).

Only thing is they still tend to cost more, so the initial expenditure is higher... though the energy savings and super long LED lifespan (no need to change bulbs for years) work out to be cheaper over time.

Just check tank journal threads and see the popular LED lightsets that people use successfully and you can get an idea of how well they work.

Here's an update after 3 days. Looks greener and a little bit more. Does this looks like healthy growth?

Looks okay... but do let the top layer of soil dry out abit more as there is still too much water on it, algae and mold will start to grow on it very soon.
