    Yeah, not much need for water retaining gel in aquasoil, since the aquarium will be filled with water anyways.

    Its useful for potted house plants though.

    You can simply chop up or blend the mosses, rub it on your hardscape and do DSM for 2-3 weeks for the mosses to attached before flooding it.
