About 1-2 weeks ago, I bought a driftwood and some plants, rinsed and put them in my tank like always.
The minute I had the plants and driftwood in, my shrimps swam around frantically and and many died on the same day.
A few more died day after day.....sigh, oh well...left maybe only about 20% of them now.

I know, next time be more careful in adding driftwood and plants, , but I do believe it was the Driftwood, this is the second time I got Driftwood problem from this LFS.
Will not get driftwood from them again, I believe their source may have added some chemicals to it, maybe...
I started to change water almost every other day for 2 weeks, the dying slowed down but still, have about 1 each day.

Eventually, the dying stopped, leaving behind the strongest 20% survivors...

I wanted to tear down my tank, but thought I would give it one last shot to recover it by using EasyLife Filter Medium. I doubted it would help but it actually did.
No more shrimps died till date. I bought a handful of shrimps, and they are all doing well.

Just wanted to highlight one thing that the EasyLife Fluid Filter Medium, did, was, after couple of hours dosing it into my tank, a handful of aquarium pest started to show up, small worms and best, Hydra. I removed all the worms and hydras over a few days, luckily my infestation wasn't that bad, but the solution actually made all the uninvited guests 'show-up'.

i thought this is quite cool, so just wanted to share this experience with fellow hobbyists.
