Hmmm lim, you have a point but its a pity that the scape wont hold. The main rock had a little more character but the branches were a little all over the place.

Haha! Yup! Sharp eyes you have.

Won't the soil eventually fall on to the sand? I did a 1ft with a sand path in the middle & the soil spilled over, leaving me no choice but to rescape..

Thats what the rocks are for. They act as the divider.

    New updates after flooding

I used the Zetlights. I like the colour rendition but because I am a little OCD, i still cannot stand the fact that it is a little slanted.... slanting downwards, if you know what I mean. I m trying to find some ways to hang the lights instead.

This is the shot from my desktop.

Not sure if it is clear. Taken by 7d and 17-55mm lens. Probably need to learn some post processing too.

For those who are interested. The red plant is Alt. Reineckii Sp Mini. The one of the right side is stargrass. The left one consists of downoi and staurogyne. The back is rotala sp red and rotala sp vietnam.

I am pretty satisfied with this nano. Now need to learn how to take better pictures. It does no justice still to my tank.

    Re: New 1 ft cube

Sorry for the flurry of posts. Anyone has a spare set of CO2 tank (aluminium preferably) and a solenoid for sale at a good cheap price ? Hahah, i need that for my plants survival. Using high excel now for co2 before I get the plants.

I met with a small mishap which resulted in soil getting into the sand. Well, i resolved it but cant get the remaining soil out. Must pick out one by one
