    Dry start hairgrass.
Might as well grind some moss and see how they grow.
Can't wait to see how it will turn out.
How long should I wait before i flood the tank?

Try to drain out the pool of water, so that the soil is just damp (not partially submerged), or else it'll encourage algae and mold/fungus will grow.

Should be around 2-3 weeks for the moss to root on the rocks (depends on the moss type though), only way to find out is to flood abit and see if the moss still stick to the rocks.

As for the hairgrass, i guess you can just flood the tank when you feel they have grown in and carpeted enough.
