Hey guys,
Finally cut a deal to have pressurized Co2 in the limited space i have. But... constrained by space so the canister has to be really small.
More or less felt these items could work..
1. UP A-135 CO2 Aluminum Cylinder 0.52 Litre
2. ANS CO2 Regulator with Solenoid
3. UP Inline Diffuser
Anyone has any experience with these items? The inline diffuser and ANS regulator with solenoid seems to have relatively good reviews based on the threads i search, but i haven't seen anyone with this exact configuration put together. Will the regulator screw on such a small tank?
Anyone knows if the ANS regulator outputs enough psi to support the inline diffuser?

Still haven gotten it lol
Does anyone have any idea if the ANS regulator with solenoid fits the UpAqua 0.52l and 1l bottles?
The latest batch ans regulator release is high pressure output, run well with up inline. I'm getting 40+ psi.
It's written on the packaging box, high pressure output, or something like that. Got it from seaview
And yes, dual gauge.
Thank you bro, I just PMed u
I just got my ANS solenoid from east ocean and yup it is a new packaging and newly upgraded to get higher psi. I got about 40 plus as well. Working pretty fine.

Was initially considering using an inline diffuser, but seems like the commonly used models, eg boyu, UP etc have leaking probs![]()
I use a reactor but you will need a good filter to power it for that to work well. I had a bad experience with inline diffusers as when they clog up, it is really difficult to clean them. I use Sera 500 reactor. You can also choose to use the intense diffuser which supposedly get you very good results.

I just personally do not like to see bubbles everywhere other than O2 bubbles. However for my 1ft cube tank which i am experimenting some stuff, i didnt want to waste too much money and thus went for ANS ceramic diffuser which was pretty cheap. Just to test out first. However, i personally do not recommend glass ware. If you use too much strength, they tend to break. Break the glass still nevermind. Cutting your hand is what i would hate to be experiencing.

I think greenchapter is having a 15% discount on their co2 steel Borneo wild brand connectors. Can take a look. Offer ends tomorrow. I bought a u shape steel connector to make it easier for me to adjust the ceramic diffuser. Spend some thought on how you wish to position the diffuser if you are getting one.

Just checked out the reactor, looks good indeed!!
Think I might go with a bazooka style diffuser then, its just a small tank after all.
Thanks for your advise!
If budget is high go for intense bazooka diffuser. If lower budget go for Ans Intense diffuser. I guess both should work fine.

Just got a 1L CO2 tank from NA, looks to be from TOP Aqua.
Just realised its a side mount for the regulator.. Will the ANS regulator with solenoid still fit?
The co2 tank
Just realised I was an idiot after looking at some pictures.
Please ignore the above questions..
The washers are to be installed between the co2 tank & the solenoid assembly to give it a good seal. Without it, co2 will leak.
