Eh. No lah, bro. I am not flaming. I am just trying to be funny. I can see that I am not as funny here. This is the second case. The other guys at EDMW is having an easier time making people laugh. I just thought it would be really funny to see an algae-infested twinstar picture like the one Shadow provided. Next thing is to get an internet vigilante group to hack the website and place the picture there. After that, World Domination.

Hey dhmy2kgto, your twinstar is it built up with calcium deposits? Need soak into bleach to remove it. If not no bubbles. I usually do maintenance every 3mths. Trying using KAO brand.

Use this one. Need soak at least 3 days. Repeat the process. Need change the solution every time. Coz active agents will die off
what is npnt?
I guess you can think of it this way, if a tank has Twinstar and it still gets algae growing everywhere... then probably without the Twinstar, the algae would be growing even faster and even more.
If a tank has an unbalanced environment which encourages algae growth, even with all the anti-algae devices and treatments in use, algae will still eventually take over. Its just a matter of time.

It may or may not work, but with the price tag of $200, I'm expecting something better. Not just preventing algae because I can easily do that by simply weekly water change, which I'm gonna do it anyway with or without twinstar![]()
I just DIY one. Waiting for result if it works.
Read here.
Is this useful?
Whether useful or not, I diy it for almost nothing. No harm to try in my case.
