    Hi...

I'm not too sure about what range of water parameters will keep all types of algae at bay...So I hope that you guys can help me on this...

Perhaps the prefered water parameters so that algae will not appear in my tank...And what type of kits are essential for my new planted tank...So far, I did not measure any parameters

Last help...If lets say that there is a difference in the parameters that you have suggested, how do I go about increasing or decreasing it?

    Thanks
    Regards,
    Izzat

The Estimative Index has a range of recommended values.

Following the Estimative Index will also remove the need for you to own any test kits other than kH and pH.

Increase your water parameters by dosing the appropriate fertliser. Doing a large water change will "reset" your nutrients.
